Traditional Chinese Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Acupuncture treats the person rather than the symptoms. Acupuncture consists of inserting fine needles into points long channels or meridians which is where Qi flows. These points are chosen to disperse blockages and bring a patients Qi into balance. The more this balance is achieved, the healthier the patient becomes.

Kate is our Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist here at EK Healing. She has been practicing as an Acupuncturist and Remedial Massage Therapist for over 20 years since she qualified from the internationally renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. She provides Traditional Chinese Acupuncture (TCA) and Trigger point acupuncture.

Throughout her career Kate has used her knowledge and skills to treat many different conditions. She believes that health is the result of the body being balanced and recognises that not all individuals require the same treatment, therefore adapting her approach to meet the needs of her clients and achieve optimal results. Acupuncture can be combined with massage to enhance the treatment effects of musculoskeletal conditions.
